Alexander Oliver is a world-famous tenor opera singer, now retired and Artistic Director at the Conservatoire, Den Haag, Holland. I set out to make a documentary of him during which I asked him to play for me one of his recorded performances. He chose a concert in Iceland in 1983 at which he sang Benjamin Britten's Serenade for Tenor and Horn. It was a superb performance. He was on a roll.
